Means "dweller by a row of hedges or houses" from the Middle English row. Some examples of the name are derived from the medieval name Row which is either a variant of Rollo or Roland.

From Middle Low German meaning "fox". Originally a nickname for a very clever person or for a person with red hair.

    Son of David.

On my mother's side, and I mention because it's cooler, means "Son of the hound of ulster" or "Son of the little calf" depending on whether the family line is descended from Irish heritage or Scottish, probably scottish so little calf it is.

my first name means "brown chief" in scots gaelic

Anglicized form of the Gaelic name Donnchadh meaning "brown warrior", derived from Gaelic donn "brown" and cath "warrior". This was the name of two kings of Scotland, including the one who was featured in Shakespeare's play 'Macbeth' (1606).
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
