If there are any IT gurus out there I have a question. I'm working at an agency that has a Windows 2003 R2 SB@ server running ExtremeZIP 5.1.2. We want to upgrade the operating system on our Mac OS 10.5. One of our IT sub-contractors is telling me that Mac OS 10.5 will not be compatible. I think he is blowing smoke up my ass. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also should we have an off-shoot from the main server specifically for Macs? I know about Mac but I have some how been placed in charge of overseeing the over haul of our server when I'm not an IT guy.

Tell me about it. It's because our IT guy doesn't know a damn thing about Macs and I seem to know the most about Macs in the office. I have two different contractors giving me contradicting information and I'm trying to do what is best for the agency.

    PLEASE ANYONE OUT THERE HELP!!!!

10.5 won't be compatible with what? SBS2k3 or extremezip?

    From Group Logics website:

"ExtremeZ-IP File Server 5.1 is the latest release of Group Logic's robust Windows-based file server for Mac clients and is the only Windows-based server solution to properly support all releases of the operating system from Mac OS 9 to Mac OS X 10.5."
