Think about it though, these feet are coming from somewhere... where are the owners?!
really? wow, you make a great point... I don't think anyone considered the feet might be owned by someone  so it's a foot thief we're after? An obvious line of investigation would be the foot fetish people but why would they dump them at sea when they're done with them? :p

  • You think at this point they'd be finding these five people who are missing a right foot. Very freaky. Probably people smugglers :(

Shouldn't be hard to find them....they'll all be walking in circles.
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

    extra special fetish?

A comment from that news website:

"I think the part of this that scares me the most is that if they've already found six feet on this gigantic coastline, so how many more have washed up in areas with nobody around to find them?"

well of course people have thought about where they're coming from!
    What I mean is...

    * Is it a weirdo morgue assistant cutting off the deceased's feet?
    * Has someone got a stash of people in their basement and they're savaging extremities... will it be a series of hands next?!
    * If it IS just someone stealing feet, how come the owners haven't been to casualty with a distinct case of 'removed foot'?!
    * Is it scorned foot fetishist cutting off ex girlfriend and boyfriends feet?!

Just wondering out loud really... :o

I read yesterday that The going theory is a plane crash off the coast that was never found (I forget when the flight was). The rest of the bodies have decomposed, but the shoes, are keeping the feet in tact and are now washing up on shore

Yesterday they contacted family of the missing to compare DNA

Yeah, they got a DNA sample from a family member one of the plane crash victims months ago, and got another one this week.

I dunno... maybe the thief knocks them out first... and they're still knocked out? Or perhaps they should check everyone who's been admitted to casualty over the time frame... and see if any of them were missing any feet?

*already buttering bread for tuna sandwiches*

    I'm on to it.

Cut your hair and wear tight fitting clothes, don't want to give the little buggers anything to grab hold of.
We'll haul up in Vancouver for a while til we can get a boat...

    Leave the Ferrari.

I'm on the other side of the country, I'll clearly need a Ferrari to get to the other side and run over as many of them as possible on the way.

    No cucumber, thanks.

    Good plan.

They'll also have kitchen and sleeping facilities for any survivors we encounter.

We need to Rock Paper Scissors for who's killing the infected survivors we take on board...

Oh wait, can re-animated feet, swim?
