Help for a friend

Good afternoon all,
I have had the great opportunity to meet a few of you at shows, or being stopped by you on the road because of the huge pearl jam sticker that was on the back of my car (green cutlass supreme with stickman logo and North Dakota plates GVN2FLY) which freaked me out for a little but thats ok....... I met you at CCFA benefits prior to shows in St. Paul two summers ago, and at Alpine Valley, Missoula, Coucil Bluffs, Seattle, and Chicago. You are all wonderful people and I consider myself to be lucky to have "friends" (and i do mean friends!!!) like you who I feel that i have more in common with than most people I live and work with. The experiences I have had with you have been great.
And now that I have buttered you up (haha :] ), I was hoping that some of you may give me a helping hand, or my friend Jason that is. He too is a huge Pearl Jam fan, and has found great comfort in their music. He talks of how special the band is and how it helps him to get through tough times, which he has had too many to deal with. Attached is a web link to the website that he has made for his daughter Jess, and the cause in which he has started in her memory. She died last year after battling myoclonic epilepsy.
The link is: http://www.journeyforjess.com/
As you can see from the link, Jason's Journey For Jess will be raising money for, and awareness of, Seizure Related disorders such as Epilepsy and Tuberous Sclerosis.
From July 10th through Aug 9th of 2009, Jason will be driving to 31 National Parks in the western United States taking pictures. Jason will be raising money through sponsorships. The money raised will be going to the local chapters of the Epilepsy Foundation and TS Alliance. With your donation, you even get a photo print of your choice (he has examples posted and they are breathtaking).
Like I said above, you can see the web link if you have any questions as to what, when, where, why, or how things are going to be occurring. I know that this may be difficult for any of you to help with (both monetarily and time wise) but anything would be appreciated. A word of encouragement for him, an email, a thank you, keep up the good work, etc. Your response would be greatly appreciated.
I don't know if this is an appropriate place to ask for this kind of thing, and if it is not, I do apologize and you may remove my post. We do appreciate your help and support for this though!! (Also, Jason doesn't know that I am posting this on this board, so it may come as quite a shock for him to see a response, which I hope is overwhelming). If you have any ideas or ways in which you feel that you can help his cause, please feel free to contact myself at josh_popp11@hotmail.com or at Jason's email listed below.
We love you guys!! Keep on rockin and I will hopefully see or hear from you all soon

i sent pm last night but no response
jason emailed me back today about whats going down
give him a holla if ya like
yeah he responded today so at least i will be able to sponsor /donate wich ever i do it's for a great cause ....
he said if u order from the store,, that goes to helping with his trip
where as if u sponsor him when he starts the journey, it goes to the charity
both are good but i asked him to email me when he starts because i would rather give it directly to the charity
i was thinking along those lines also ,i might just do both i wouldn't mind getting one of those t's ....
yea i agree with that
an extra 15-20 for a tee is all good
i would just rather make a nice contribution to the charity instead of buying 10 shirts lol
i'm abit surprized at the lack of supprot coming thru from here though :( i don't get it to me it's an easy call ,i mean once you look at the picts of her with her big brother need i say more ...:(...
well hopefully people will take the time to read it
but you know how it is,,, it has to come from the mouth of a band member for some to take notice
just between me you and two others we have gotten to 2pgs, i won't let this one go away now that i have commited to at least help in anyway possible will see if more people notice ...
people will look sooner or later
I'll do what I can....
