Ok..... I'm not much of a TV person but this show rocks. I'm addicted. Anyone else watch or like this show? I didn't start watching until about a month ago when a friend gave me season 1. I had no cable at the time so that was the only thing I watched. I'm now about 10 episodes into season 2.

It did get renewed for a 3rd season. Not sure when it starts though. Anybody know??

I watch the show and think it's pretty good. I hated the way they ended the second season though as it seemed like they just took it off the air like it was canceled, although I think some of that was due to the writers strike. I was shocked when it got picked up for a third season. I think the new episodes will start to air in October, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

The 1st season was great, I bought it on DVD. The 2nd season sucked. I stopped watching after a few shows. It turned into a highschool drama. The 1st season was more about the coach and his family.

It was absolutely terrible how they ended the show without finishing the season. I have both seasons on DVD but the second season wasnt nearly as good as the first. The last few episodes of the second season finally got back to what the show was originally about. Season 3 will be on Directv in October and then on NBC in like February (which is way too long of a time). Its also only supposed to be 13 episodes which is kind of a load of crap.

  • My favorite part of the show is how all of the characters/actors are not really familiar faces or "mainstream" actors. At least I had never heard of any of them. Again I am not a TV buff. But they all fit the part and show quite well

Love the show; most real characters on TV. Didn't like the story line with the dead guy they threw off the bridge. The season ended like it did because of the writers' strike; it would have ended differently if they had more episodes.

They could have still finished the season though like most shows are doing.

Yeah, the only actor on this show that I can remember in anything else is Taylor Kitsch (Tim Riggins). He was in Snakes On A Plane and John Tucker Must Die.

My girlfriend made me watch John Tucker Must Die..........one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

I didn't say I liked that movie, just that I remembered him being in it. In Snakes On A Plane, he was the one that got bit when he and his girlfriend were fooling around in the bathroom.

NBC is not very kind to the show and they probably wanted to fit more reality TV in like Celebrity Circus. Also, the shows are longer and harder to make than sitcoms.
