Dear Ed and 10C,
Thanks much for everything concerning NJPAC. I was lucky enough to hop on a PATH train from my new job near Ground Zero and get to Newark around 7. I was so thrilled to find that Newark can in fact be beautiful, and dreams they do come true. I got 6th row through 10C. I was closer to the stage for Ed/PJ than I ever dreamt I ever would be.
After a cheap hot dog (I lifted my vegetarian diet for this occasion) and some beer while watching some great "street" performances I went into NJPAC, the most beautiful venue I have ever sauntered into...
Mindblowing performance. Eddie is so in the moment its not funny...
My only regret is cracking and taking a piss right after Driftin' which turned out to cost me 1/2 of MASTERS!!!!!!!!!! which unlike at MSG I couldnt hear from the bathroom. Fuck bad timing... You win some, you lose some.
After 11 PJ shows and 105 concerts I have now had an experience I don't think I could ever top.
And thanks to the fans for being relatively civil. Last time I was at something PJ related I was at MSG getting pissed on by a drunk ass Bostonian. Granted missing songs sucks, but cmon... Its evolution Baby!!!!
Best,
John
