Rice played a great game today but it just wasn't enough. Lawson struggled badly but the Heels pulled it out. Another week for the ankle to heal before the Duke game. I can't wait. It should be a great game.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

great game by Rice, but the rest of his teammates weren't in rhythm and when UNC put a bigger defender on him, he only scored 12 points in the second half.

What a comeback! That first half by Rice was probably the best I have ever seen. It's hard to beat someone when a guy is that unconcious. Lawson looked like he was tip toeing on egg shells out there for most of the game. Hopefully he gained enough confidence in the ankle that he can go at it with out worrying about injuring it again.

    GO HEELS!

there was a handful of great comeback games on today.
G'town OT win over Marquette. Duke comeback over NC State. And Pitt's comeback over the Syracuse (a bunch of sloppy play at end by 'Cuse because they had an 11 point-led with less than 2 minutes left)

I'm a Heels fan too, and today's game was pretty crazy. Lawson's first game back after the injury was eh.. but he did hit a big 3 towards the end of the big run UNC went on.

Also, did anyone watch the Texas/Texas Tech. game? The ending of that game was crazy! TTech was up most of the game big, then Texas stormed back and just barely missed sending the game into OT. A couple steals on the inbound and some HUGE threes made that game one of the more exciting games I've seen in a while. TTech ended up winning mainly because Voskuil (sp?) hit like 8 or 10 straight free throws at the end.

Speaking of comebacks. What about the choke job by Maryland against Clemson last night. It was as if the top 3 ACC teams were trying to outdo each other in comeback victories this weekend.

Hansbrough=Mike Myers??? I never quite saw him as Austin Powers. That's interesting.
