Shitty week = Monday night it snows and ices. So Tuesday afternoon, my 9 year old son eats a ton of snow. Tuesday night he vomits and has diarreha for for three hours before we finally take him to the ER. We spend the night at the hospital. He finally gets to go home Wednesday at noon and misses two days of school.

Thursday, we get another 6 inches of snow (two days of snow in March?!). Then Toni comes down with the sickness that Avery had. She is sick all night and all day Friday.

I have done 40 loads of laundry this week cleaning up after sick people. I am wiped.

Turns out the infection was E. Coli. Very dangersous. Both wife and son are all better now, thank God.

A really bad week at work too. And I just found out I owe the IRS an additional $1500.

Kids are visiting Grandma tonight and Toni is out at a bacherlorette party.

I won't, hopefully. I have been using germ-x like crazy and spraying everything. E. Coli is spread through eating something with the bacteria in it or through contact with well, you know. And since she was helping our son the most, she got it.

That may be the plan. Go to my favorite pub and watch the Mavericks. Not that that is wild, but you never know.

We've had 11. I live about 35 miles north of Dallas, which got nothing. Weird. And really bizarre for this part of Texas in March.

Or I could just sit here on the board and debate the merits of YIELD, or who is better (Klausen or Ames), or which version of Even Flow has the best solo, or gripe about the 10C ticketing process. Hmmm . . . tempting.

Oh, I should mention how much of a trooper my son is. He just had surgery the week before to remove a cyst from his face (it was benign) and he just had the stitces taken out on Tuesday, the day of the E. Coli attack.

He has had a really rough couple of weeks and needed some "Grammy Time" tonight.
