30 Rock WTF

I thought I would give it a try and check it out. With Tina Fey all over the place lately I figured why not give 30 minutes of time...

Geez can I get that 30 minutes of my life back. The show is awful, didn't laugh once... I cracked half a smile one time, but was expecting a lot more from this show.

So please tell me is this what passes for humor now...

    Well you can't start at the beginning of season 3. It definitely follows up on previous jokes. I thought it was a pretty solid opener to tell you the truth. Any time GOB is involved I'm in.

    Then that damn Tina Fey lied... I heard an interview today in which she said that you could start with tonights and be able to follow it...

    yeah you really should start with the beginning .....it makes a lot of things funnier. would be dull without knowing what's going on.

    Alec Baldwin makes the show. His delivery is spot on, but yeah it was better last year when he was the head of the company. The republican jokes were great (especially coming from such a left wing nutjob).

    I think along with "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", this is the funniest show on TV right now.

    i am a huge 30 rock fan, but to find the funniest thing on television now, you have to watch the show that is on before 30 rock.

    The Office has hit its peak and is on its way down now. They should think about wrapping it up next year.

    BTW nothing compares to Arrested Development.

    I agree now that was funny television... nothing has come close since...

    It wasn't a very good episode. But like what other people said it helps you watch the previous seasons to get the jokes. I hope tomorrow's episode is better.

    great show....watch the first 2 seasons....you can't dive into the middle of this show

    That show sucks. That little wimpy guys is annoying as F. Even Tracy Morgan is so dumb it bugs.


    Peace lame show...not watching.


    Bottom line...if its not reality...its fakeality.

    30 Rock (and The Office) are brilliant shows, but like ANY show...starting with a season premier or season finale is a bad way to go. They're often used more for setup instead of punchline, and they also fall victim to "changing" to appeal to a wider audience rather than just appealing to an audience by being what they are: good.

    Give it a few episodes...or, preferably hit up nbc.com and see if the old espisodes are still available. The show hit its stride midway through season 1.

    I've only seen about 5 minutes but I was bored. But I don't really like sitcoms so maybe that is why.
