I thought this was kind of funny. Someone posted it on another board I frequent.
How many forum members does it take to change a lightbulb?
1 to change the light bulb and 5 to post that the light bulb has been changed
14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently
7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs
7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs
5 to flame the spell checkers
3 to correct spelling/grammar flames
6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ...
another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid
2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"
15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct
19 to post that this group is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum
11 to defend the posting to the group saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this group
36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty
7 to post URLs where one can see examples of different light bulbs
4 to post that the URLs were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL.
3 to post about links they found from the URLs that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group
13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too"
5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy
4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"
13 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs"
3 to tell a funny story about their beagle and a light bulb
1 group lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again.

well now i have to add that in so it takes 192.0 -
You forgot the ones that blame it on the tenclub for not buying longer lasting light bulbs.
The ones that bitch at everyone else for turning on the light too much, even though they've been flipping the switch more than anyone else.
The ones that will proclaim the broken light bulb as censorship since nobody can see what they're doing.
And the ones that will bitch at the people for even noticing the light bulb is broken. After all, it IS a rock message board! (Apparently when you add the word rock to anything, that means anything is allowed BUT you aren't allowed to bitch about something that annoyed you)0 -
OH! And the ones that will say Pearl Jam sold out for even using light bulbs. What ever happened to fire?0

Great Post!!!!
Don't forget the 500 who were too busy obsessing over their pearl jam posters and T Shirts, that they didn't even notice the light burned out in the first place.0 -

funny list! always makes me laughwah0 -
you can't forget those that will blame stone for blowing the light bulb in the first place...
if he wasn't there, it would not have blown, and therefore would not have had to be changed2003 - Sydney x3,2006 - Reading Festival,2007 - Katowice, London, Nijmegen, Rock Werchter,2008 - MSG x2, Hartford, Mansfield x2, Beacon Theater,2009 - Melbourne, Sydney,2010 - I watched it go to fire!2011 - EV Brisbane x3, Newcastle, Sydney x3,2012 - Manchester x 2, Amsterdam x2, Prague, Berlin x2, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen,2014 - Sydney, EV Sydney x3
I wave to all my Friends... Yeah!0 -
and one previously banned member who breaks the light bulb, comes back under an assumed name...starts rumors about other people who broke the lightbulb...gets irate when others call him out on breaking the lightbulb...resulting in another banning.....................or something like thatThere's a light when my baby's in my arms0

is it 4? is the answer 4?
oh man i'm shit at these things..
1008?oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0 -

I agree and think the first post is hilarious! I just commented on a thread about God and they told me not to read it... but I am sick and tired of seeing people argue over God and the thread has been sitting on the main board for days obviously not getting anywhere! I guess I will let them run around in circles since the fact that most people have been arguing over "HIM" since his inception!!!!0
