Is this going to suck?
I've only seen 2 or 3 episodes of this show, and definitely want to see more...
Do you think editing it for network tv will ruin it? Or will it still be worth watching?
I'm definitely going to check it out. But I'm skeptical.

Dont know what the effect of heavy editing will be.But I would say still check it out.
I think it will be worth it to watch anyway. So much of that show is the mind fuck that is Dexter. As long as they don't mess with that, I think the show will remain intact.
Also they will be doing some heavy edits for time constraints. On average an episode of Dexter is 50-57 minutes long. On average, an hour-long show on network TV is 40-42 minutes.
Being on CBS will do one of two things for Dexter. A) People will hate it because of the heavy edits and just write the show off for good, or People will love it, actually subscribe to Showtime, and watch a real TV show.
Fantastic show! Shows Michael C. Hall's versatility as an actor. Completely different from Six Feet Under's character. He should have won a Golden Globe imo.
Finally got that "One for the Thumb"!!! Got the "Six Pack". Now we're on a "Stairway to Seven"

watch it online if they edit it too badly, I think you can watch it here: http://www.surfthechannel.com
Of course, it will probably be a hit and the uninitiated will be proclaiming Dexter as the "best new show on television".
