My personal goal for the month is to lose 6-8 lbs and remember to take vitamins every day...rather than the two or three times a week I think of them!

    Woohoo, I'm in again.

If it's okay, I'd like to use yesterdays doc office weigh in as my starting weight and then I have another doc office weigh in April 1st. That's giving me a couple of extra days, but I trust their scales more than mine.

Edit: I hope to lose at least another 8-10lbs this month

  • This month my goal is to lower my body fat percentage by 1.5%. This should get me into a size 32" pants. The strategy is the same as always: eat a lot, lift weights 4 days per week, and do cardio 5 mornings per week for 40 minutes.

    Good luck all.

My goal is to drop 5-8lbs for the month, and get to the gym at least 4x a week.

  • Did my 40 minutes of cardio this morning, and will do legs/abs/shoulders after work today. This week I'm not expecting much loss because I'm going out with my sister on Wednesday (will probably drink a bit), and I'm going skiing this weekend, so I'll be eating out a lot. But as long as I'm not ridiculous with the cheat meals, I should still be on-track for the month.

I have to have a goal, I just don't know what, yet. I'm not sure I'll make the Cherry Blossom run April 6th as I've been a slacker. However, sit ups and push ups every morning would be good.

    very true:)
  • Last week, I suffered a slight shoulder injury, so I missed 2 lifting days to recover, but missed no cardio sessions. I ate more than I should have over the weekend, but this week I've been fine in both diet & training. I think I still have a chance to reach my goal.
  • Brain of J.LoBrain of J.Lo Posts: 3,259
I've been sick and I've lost about 3 pounds over the last week or so, but it's not from working out and eating healthy...it's just from having no appetite and hardly eating! So I didn't check in last week!

I started working out again yesterday so I'm getting back on track. :)

2 days to recover from an injury?! Minor or not...whoa...not enough. A full week is the recommended rest period for a muscle just from directly focusing on it at the gym.

No, I missed 2 lifting days, but I rested the shoulder for almost 6 days. I hurt it on a Tuesday. Wednesday I don't lift anyways, then I skipped Thurs and Friday, then the weekends I don't lift either. So it was fine when Monday came.

Definitely takes at least 5 days to recover.

    Monday, March 17 - 115 lbs.

I've been pretty good (minus the patron margaritas). Cut back on the bread and desserts!
I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.

Well, I was really good for 8 days straight, but then fell off the wagon. So I'm leaving March weighing 118 lbs. Not bad AT ALL!!!

I didn't lay off of the bread, pasta and/or booze this month, so I didn't lose any weight. Thankfully, I got really sick about mid-month, so I also didn't gain any weight.

Phew. Could've been better, but it could've been MUCH worse.
