...what would you serve for dessert?

I'm just not sure what would compliment it best. We're having burritos.

    You know, that's a really good idea! This is just a random "have the family over for dinner" occasion, so I didn't really think about margaritas...but I think we're gonna have to have them. :D

    or use liquid nitrogen.
    Bit impractical just to make dessert really.

    The burrito is the dessert! I don't think there'll be much room in your tummies after a good size burrito. :cool:

    If anything, serve nachos and dip.

    my favorite mexican dessert is a strawberry flavored tequila liqueur.....it tastes like strawberry quick and milk with a kick....:o :D

    I think we'll go with the ice cream w/ caramel. That sounds nice and I can give it to the baby, too. :)

    I think the grown-ups will still need a few margaritas, though. :D

    totally agree with the Vanilla... nice way to cool things off.

    We went for Mexican last week and the main thing they served for dessert was fried tortillas.

    cut flour tortillas into strips, fry them lightly in oil for a few minutes until they're golden, then serve them with vanilla ice cream, drizzle honey over the top and dust with cinnamon - it does not get any better than that I swear!
