  • For the past few months I've submitted numerous resumes to Public Relations companies, I did get one interview...I'd like to have more....I'm currently a staff writer for a biweekly newspaper but I want to do something different and PR really interests me....if anyone has any tips or leads I'd be interested to:)

That's cool. I'm currently a...well, currently I don't work but I used to work in legal marketing/public relations and the public relations aspect of the job was the part I really liked. I'm thinking about going back to school to get a masters in pr and would maybe like to work in an educational or non profit setting.

Either that or I'm gonna go back and be a teacher. I think I've actually kind of narrowed it down to these two things. It's a miracle! ;)

Well, I haven't looked too deeply into it, but I was looking at this program today online:

    http://www.rowan.edu/colleges/communication/departments/publicRelationsAdvertising/gradprogram.html

Since I *just* started researching, I don't know anything about this program beyond what it says on the web site, and I don't know what other schools have similar programs. This one is cool because the classes are at night, so if you're already working you can do it without interrupting your job.
