...where you can input the ingredients you have and it provides recipes that use those ingredients?

It seems like I've heard of such a thing, but I don't remember what it is.

I'm bored with all of the things I know how to cook. I want a challenge. ;)

  • I know there is a mixed drink site like that, but I haven't seen a recipe one that does that.

try the "advanced search" on http://www.allrecipes.com

I've had OK luck with it. Works best if you tell it what you major ingredients are, and not get so nip-picky as "ginger powder"
  • I just google whatever I'm looking for.

That's a great idea! I hope it exists. Whatever you do, cilantro for savory and vanilla bean for sweet (and roasted pecans for both hmmmmmmmmmmm)

    epicurious.com
    or
    williams-sonoma.com

i've used both the way you;re describing and it worked well.
