Fish oil caps - I don't like fish, so I take these 3 times a day to get enough omega 3 fatty acids, which are essential to the human body. Most people are deficient in omega 3's I think.
I've tried various other herbal stuff, but nothing compares to a simple, balanced, and healthy diet. Ever since I've had that, I've strayed further and further away from supplements. IMO, most of them are not worth it.
I also take Boron to aid athletic recovery.
I take a vit B supplement because I am a vegetarian.
I take a multivitamin.
And I take selenium and chromium picolinate. Go ahead and laugh, but I forgot why I take them. I'm sure it was based on some athletic reason or vegetarian reason..... if that makes sense.
My brother swears by fish oil. He works with an eye doctor who tells all of his patients to take it. I haven't started taking it yet but I'm going to. My brother actually hasn't had a migraine since he started taking it regularly.
lol, hopefully it wasn't to aid your memory.
Cod liver oil = healthy heart oil. You are right, Saturnal, we are usually short on that stuff.
Same thing with the flax, it is Omega 3's and all the fiber you need in one day.
and it is good for your skin.
One A Day Women's...goodness of a multivitamin plus some other things women need.

Hold on to the thread
The currents will shift
Ha! That would be sad. I'm not even going to google it because what if it is for memory? Then I would feel really, really bad..... or old.

What can chromium picolinate do for me?
Chromium is essential for a healthy metabolism, especially as you get older. If you aren’t getting enough chromium, you may feel run down or have trouble keeping weight off.
Taking chromium picolinate daily can result in significant health benefits, like:
Increased energy
Improved weight control
Better carbohydrate metabolism
Morning:
Cod Liver
Cal-Mag+B Complex
Green Tea
Garlic
Vitamin C
Vitamin E
Night:
Cod Liver
Cal-Mag+B Complex
Echinacea
Ginkgo Biloba
Iron
Lecithin
Vitamin A

Fish oil eh?..Hmmm...I get migraines once in a while but my girlfriend gets them alot and her doctor put her on sick leave from work because of them...I'll mention it to her to try it for sure...
You can get that in a pill? and it still has the same benefits? I need to take that for my kidney stone thing. For the kidney stone affliction, natural pathic is the only way to go. The medical field is worthless and expensive.
I have been taking Zinc and B6 for a couple weeks, nightly. Been on this routine for a couple of weeks, I'll finish soon. I never do anything for long; the benefits of supplement are stronger when you get off and on them.
Yeah, I've never heard of fish oil being recommended specifically for migraines, but my brother has suffered from them his whole life and swears he hasn't had once since he started taking it.
I have heard of Vitamin B12 for migraines, though...so if you're girlfriend hasn't tried that, it might be worth a shot. Migraines suck. :( I'm getting one right now.
Yeah I'll let her know about that for sure to try !!
Yeah at any pharmarcy , costco or Walmart. Here in Canada anyways they have it..Alot better in pills format then swallowing that gross liquid..
