i passed my content test

Yes i just found out I passed my elm. school content test!!!!!
One step closer to being a teacher!!!!!!
like a dog chasing a car, I do not know what i would do with it if i caught it----Joker

    GraySaturday is in grad school. and she just passed some test today. she lives in chi-town. do you guys go to the same grad school?

    I got to Lewis University I working on my elementary ed degree no masters yet.

    Yeah I passed the basic skills test today! Congrats to you... was the content difficult? I've heard varying opinions. I'll be taking that next year probably. I'm also going for Elem. Education. Are you hoping to teach in IL? When are you graduating?

    Yes to teaching in Ill. Congrats to you too!!!!! I will find out for sure on thurs when I 'm grad. What school do you go to? do you like the program? I 'm hating lewis?
    The test was not that bad. I got 245 and you need a 240. I had a book from the basic skills test that helped alot. I gave up on the test because my professers told me not to take it until i took my methods classes. I signed up for it in July so I just took it and passed.

    I go to Depaul. I just started this semester but I love the program. I'm in a cohort that is focused on CPS schools in Lincoln Park around Depaul, and every Thursday we intern/observe/teach in those schools. We have 5 Elementary Schools in our Cohort, and when we complete the Cohort successfully, we are granted a spot student teaching at one of those schools. It's great because my whole focus is to work in CPS when I graduate and the Cohort schools are awesome public schools so it's great experience.

    When I took the basic skills test I had the flu and a sinus infection and I was beyond sick. Actually, the next day I had to go to the ER from a drug interaction from the meds the doctor put me on before the test, so I was a hot mess. I wasn't sure if I was going to pass it. But I got a 267 and had to get a 240 as well. I'm just glad I don't have to retake it.. It was SO long.

    I'm done in June of 2010. I have to take the Fine Art content area test as well to be endorsed in Art as well as Elem. Ed. I hate taking tests!
