I guess that would depend on your motivation for seeking them. Are you truly a fan who likes to collect them for your own pleasure, or are you doing it for some financial gain? If it's for money, then any age is too old IMHO.
I smile, but who am I kidding...

    Age doesn't matter... intent, does.
Example: Who is the asshole in this paragraph?
A 62 year old man who is a devout Cubs fan and has Ernie Banks' and Ron Santos' autographs and just like collecting autographs... OR
A 25 year old man who is just seeking out the star player's autographs because they return a higher monetary pay off on E-Bay.

I don't think there is an age limit. I mean, if you're a fan, you're a fan.. and getting an autograph is meaningful to a lot of people because they signify the memory of meeting the person. I don't understand buying an autograph something from a store. No real meaning behind it to me then, but to each his own.

Maybe next time I'm at wrigley I'll see you hanging out, and I'll point and laugh. haha.. I kid!

no i get them for myself I have almost 120 signed baseballs and 20 8x10 bears players in my basement. I met William Petterson (CSI my fave show)and got him to sign a baseball. I just met Rob Rienor (Sp) the other day and him sign a ball. I think it is cool to meet celebs and meet players.

And maybe those 60 year old feel the same way you do.
Who knows... they might have Walter Payton's, Dick Butkus', Gayle Sayers' and George Halas' autographs in their basements.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
