Hell yeah. Tickets going up an average of 16 percent, they sure as hell better sign someone. GO CUBS GO!!!

Guy is pretty decent. Career .305 hitter in Japan, in 06 he hit .351 with 31 homers and 104 rbi's. He only played 81 games in 07 due to an injury that required elbow surgery. I'll take my chances with him in left. It's better than Strap Jones or Floyd, whom we've had the past two years.

I ment right, obviously Soriano is in left. Possibly center, depens on Pie's development I guess.

heard if they get fuk...they'll try and trade pie and the 5th starter they had last year (used to be on STL and ATL), i can't remember his name right now.

That would be Marquis. I know earlier they were trying to get Brian Roberts, but I thought I heard the rumor for him was Murton and Marshall or Gallagher.

It sounds like he will bat in the middle of the lineup to split up the heavy Right handed line up we have.

I thought with a .441 OBP last year would make him leadoff for sure.

Until he can do that in the majors they probably shouldn't experiment with having him lead off yet. Although I'd love to get Soriano into a more running producing role.

I don't think he's going to pan out. Just a gut feeling I have.
