UGH.

so i send an email on sunday to the theater where my exhibition is to be held next month, just to confirm it's still on and when to arrange the reception and all that good stuff.

no reply, i call the theater just now and turns out the woman who organized the whole program is no longer there, and the owner is out of town, but this fucking space cadet whore that answered the phone is also in charge.

she said 'oh yeah i sent your message to him, he's on vacation but we'll have a meeting on thursday'. she said they might not continue the program since they're remodeling.

i'm like hello, i've been planning for this since LAST FUCKING YEAR. they had my sister do hers in march even though i had been picked first. and people have done it since then. i told her i need to know if it's happening so i don't spend a billion dollars printing and framing everything for naught. she's like oh i'll let him know that you were planning to do it. that they'll decide during their meeting and then she'll email me.

it just sets me off, here i am busting my ass to get some more stuff done for it, and planning what to get framed and all, just to potentially have the rug pulled out from under. i'm hoping it works out, for their fucking sake lol

yeah and not only the energy and effort, but i've told everybody i know about this. people close to me are looking forward to this, so it'd really be sad for me if it didnt' work out.
