rule like nothing else....back at work today just for a day, got the weekend awaiting me. was over in jersey and did a side trip to DC, alexandria VA (LOVED how olde everything was), crab in MD, and a day trip to philly. and spent some good time with my grandparents.

and i love being back home at the same time...that's the great thing about travel really, makes you appreciate home even more :)

and now i feel so unwound and relaxed it's hard to really focus :p

so yeah, i need to do that more often. and happy friday to all!

    thanks!

and oh sweet god yes...especially when your grandparents allot 1 pillow per person (and i sleep with 2 minimum), you sleep on a sofa bed made in the 1800s and it's a billion degrees inside (suffice it to say that seinfeld episode hit *too* close to home for me haha).

and having 2ply toilet paper, woohoo lol

You know what's funny...I actually sleep better on vacations and in hotel beds than I do at home. Even on that first night home I don't sleep as well as I did in a hotel bed. But for some reason, I'm usually glad to be home which is good.

But as they say, if you're glad to be home after a vacation then you did it right. If you're sad that you're home, you need to learn to vacation better.

Welcome home, and I'm glad it all worked out for you.

I Love my little 3 day weekends in Vegas! Man, those are the best. I always sleep so good ALL DAY, in my FREEZING air conditioned room with the curtains drawn tightly, don't even know it's 120 degrees outside and the sun is out. Then get up at about 6pm and stay out all night.......GOOD TIMES!

You're in Vegas! Why even sleep? Day = pool, night = party until it's time to go back to the pool. :p

Oh and you don't haaaaaaaaave to play at the pool also...but if you do, then it's called an addiction. You should get that checked out. :)

It's Vegas. It doesn't have to take thaaaaaaaaat long. Too much fun to be had. An hour tops, in the room. There's more to be had later as well. :D Say about 48 hours in a regular Vegas trip. Dedicate 3 times a day. That's three hours take away from each 24 hour period, and that leaves only 42 hours left for partying and pooltime. That's my sacrifice. No time to sleep! :)

the hotel we stayed at in alexandria was really nice, i slept like a drunken angel. it was the sleeping arrangement in jersey at my grandparents that was less than comfy lol

but that's so true, if you're happy to be home then it's done right. in which case, i HELLA did right on this trip haha
