Borgata II 3-Year Anniversary 10/01/05

This was my first show, and the show that started it all. I got one ticket on TM (didn't know there was a 10C at the time or that there were a limited number of tix). IF I had known, I woulda got more. I got a ride from UDEL to AC from a frat brother's actual brother who's been to over 45 total PJ shows (his name is "i got id" on EB and the Pit - great friend and fan).
Got to the venue and waited in line while he got the red poster; showed me the pink from the night before, and then the poster addiction began for me.
The highlights of the show for me were Present Tense into DTE, GTF (prolly never screamed louder in my life except for Release at Bonnaroo or Fuckin' Up at Hartford 08), SOLAT, Breath, You, and a 9+ min version of RITFW w/Ace Frehley in which I can be seen in videos I've gotten thru PMs of me jumping up and down (I'm easily visible cuz i'm 6'9").
Getting to witness Gone for the first time; Harvest Moon - which will prolly be played at my wedding; the exact version recording from this show minus the part when Ed says, "Apparently they've gotten a divorce, this song is called Harvest Moon by Neil Young."
Please, only post your memories if you attended Borgata II, to mark the anniversary, and please Don't Gimme No Lip!!!!!

Oh the memories. What a day that was for me. Left Long Island around 10am picked up my boy in queens. Got about 20mins away from ac. AND "FUCK!!!" left the tickets at home. See what happens when you dont get tixs from 10c(not to mention $400 a pop). Went back home, got the tixs headed to 7-11 for beers then hit the road, again. Now got to the hotel around 5:30pm. Power drank ourselves silly. Originally a 2 1/2 hr drive, took me about 7hrs. Classic trip. And was so worth it!!

    Amazing show..

Woke up in my room sore as shit from the day before, knew I could take it easy that day as no matter what time we got in the venue, we would be close.

My sister was also staying at the Borgata in a room across from mine, and she was leaving that day. I just finished smokin a doobie, and heard the door across the hall open. Thinking it was my sister, I went and opened the door to say goodbye.. and Boom Gaspar was standing right there.

I told him how great last night was, and how he absolutely kicked ass on Crazy Mary. He thanked me, and told me how great PJ's fans how treated him and how he couldn't wait for that nights show.

Once I got in and Present Tense started.. I knew we were in for a special night.

Breath!!!! One of the best versions of Insignificance, U, Immortality, Nothingman.. you all know the set list.. it was unbelievable.

With that.. PLEASE PEARL JAM PLAY THE BORGATA AGAIN.

He was with his lady and another guy, his room was directly across from mine & he was headed downstairs to soundcheck.

Would've loved to burn one with Boom.

I too was there for that magical weekend, and I too stayed right inside the Borgata, and trated myself and my GF to all the extras in the Spa- massages, swimming, the whole 9.
It was especially nice to be able to snag ourselves 2 Red Borgata posters ( thanks to the older securoity lady at the front who let my GF run upstairs to the merchandise booth before they opened up the gates & let that HUGE line in to go up the stairs ) , then immediately go throw them up in our suite before the show started.

this night was incredibe in an incredible sounding venue .

ace fucking frehely and the world premiere of GONE.

Great night - amazing Leash tease in STBC - "Drop drop droppin' it down, like a LEASH yeah!"

Met Mike in Metropolis pre show
Watched ED do Atlantic City preset
Bee Girl, Harvest Moon and Gone were delightful treats
Best Present Tense opener (my humble opinion) I've heard
    Ace RITFW
Met Ace literally in the same "Mike" spot at the Metropolis after show - and got wing sauce (sloppy hug) on his white shirt!!!
Guiness and Sierra Nevada black and tans

Been to a bunch of shows - this one takes the cake for me...great venue

Awesome show - thanks for stirring up the great memories on this one!!!

must have been a great show!!
i hear from my friend that the borgata is an amazing venue
...but of course his opinion is slightly biased as his dad owns the place ( i am so jealous!!)

i checked out some of the videos and it seems like it was one heck of a show!!

Sleater Kinney opened these shows. I believe Promised Land and Mother were songs Pearl Jam played with Sleater Kinney.

Definitely one of my favorite shows...although it seems I end up saying that anytime anyone brings up a specific show like this....

Met Mike pre-show as well...Atlantic City preset and the premiere of Gone were the great highlights for me...Ed lying about the Yankees - Red Sox score was pretty funny...the guy next to me got the set list :( I was bummed...good for him though

Living about 10 Mins from AC made the band playing that venue pretty special as well

Such a great show! Present Tense opener was amazing...then right into DTE i remember the floor shaking. First time Gone was played was soo cool...just remember the entire crowd silent as we listened to a song Ed wrote a day or two before. Meet some real cool people around me. So cool to see PJ in basically a hotel ballroom!
