Hey old friend and new friends. My cousin needs to rent a room in Toronto for Jan.1st and still has no leads.... I told her I would try all my wonderful PJ friends and see if anyone here can help her. She is twentyish..very open minded, artsy, into acting and theatre, alternative outdoorsy hippyish girl. if that matters or makes any sense. She is very sweet.. let me know!!

Do you have any idea what area of the city she wants to live?

I would suggest check the colleges and universities in the area - there's always people looking to rent out rooms.

I work in north Toronto, and there are a ton of postings here for rooms being rented...let me know if she's interested, and I'll copy some info for you.

if she is absolutely new to toronto - i can give her some pointers about neighbourhoods and such ...

Wellesley, Church, Jarvis, Sherbourne, Jane, Finch. Try to avoid those streets.

Also, Scarborough...avoid all of Scarborough.

sure ! copy some of the info for me, that would be great.. she is nervous about not knowing what the place looks like, who she would be living with and all that crap of course.. so it's even better if someone knows someone who knows what they look like as in... not some sweaty trucker dude in girls panties sitting at a computer all night. know what I mean.
