I knew nothing about it til I caught it. (I tried to get advice from my hmo's nurse but she said the doctor had to look at it. my husband is the one who told me initially I had ringworm.)

I told my doctor how I thought I caught it and he said there are a number of ways. It is above my right eyebrow, near my hairline. It's responding very well to Lotrimin and I put Head and Shoulders' shampoo directly on it! I read that in wikipedia.
