Anybody from Milwaukee or know Milwaukee well?

i'm going to milwaukee this weekend for dave matthews/black crowes at alpine valley, and can't seem to find some necessary info.

so my question is, what time do the bars close in milwaukee? 2:00 am, 3:00 am? or some other time? are there any weird laws about buying alcohol on sundays? can you smoke in the bars?

as you can see i ask the important questions! :)

    Bar time is 230am, nope you can buy alcohol on sundays. But you can only buy alcohol at stores until 9pm. Yes you can smoke in bars

    True but I must say no smoking in bars is a great idea. Its so nice to come home and not stink of smoke.

    Yeah there are Smoke free bars and bars with smokers here where I live...

    definitely. there's no smoking here in both omaha and lincoln now. much nicer. even if you are a smoker.
