LONG TIME NO SPEAK
Hey everyone-
It's been a little while hasn't it? There's been a lot happening in my life, but I wanted to check in and say hi to all of you who have hung in there with me.
So, as some of you may have seen or read, I'm back in Hawaii after a trip to LA for the Emmys. Though I'm bummed we didn't win, I'm glad for everyone involved with "Mad Men." It really is a great show, and long time friends will know that I'm a fan. It was great to meet some of their cast over the weekend. Actually, one of the best parts of the Emmys is meeting people that you like/admire and finding out that they might like/admire you as well. It's a cool feeling and a pretty great icebreaker! Anyway, along w/some of the Mad Men folks, I was psyched to meet some new people, like the guys from FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS - definitely one of the highlights of the night - as well as see some old friends and people I just really like.
Before I go though, just wanted to drop you all a little reminder: I'm always really glad and appreciative that you guys take the time to write me. It's one of the best parts of MySpace. I just want to apologize if I can't write you back. Please don't be upset or insulted, there simply isn't enough time to respond to all the personal notes - I'd never be able to leave my computer! But I do read everything you write, and thank you so much for your support - in good times and bad.
Okay, more later, but in the meantime, I hope you're all having a great September. I wonder if you're counting down the time until LOST hits the air again. I know I am...
Cheers!

Thanks for posting that. He didn't give anything away at all, did he?!
RE-watching all the episodes in the hiatus before February with my 2 kids. They are in seventh heaven and have great theories they come up with.
Highly recommend watching the shows over.
So got a question, we are up to the beginning of Season 3 and we are seeing Locke, Ecko, Desmond and Charlie (Especially) come away from what happend at the hatch. All of them seem pretty non-plussed by what happend and the rest of the cast doesn't seem to really be freaked by the purple sky.
Is this bad acting, bad writing or was there something else that I was missing??

My guess?? They've been through so much already on that island that nothing surprises them anymore.

Fringe? Yeah, I found the pilot entertaining...but, again, it's no LOST. I recorded last night's episode but haven't had a change to watch it yet. What about you??

Nah, have been rewatching all the old shows and geeking out on Lostpedia.com.
I am a TV watcher but i have never been hooked on a show before. You can not miss an episode or read other recaps because you can miss so much.
The only new show which I has hooked me is True Blood on HBO.
That's *EXACTLY* how I feel about Lost. I like to say "Lost isn't a tv show; it's a phenomenon"
...and my wife won't watch it. So I have recruited my 8 and 5 year old sons. My wife thinks some of the stuff is inappropriate. I say good life lessons.
Charlie - Don't do drugs
Jack - Chicks dig doctors
Locke - Guys with knives are cool
Sayid - Being from Iraq does not mean you are bad man
Claire - The Birds and the Bees (Where is the daddy, how did she have the baby, oy vey)
Sawyer - People can steal your money
Hurley - Abuse of the word Dude

Um...that was *AWESOME*! You should contact ABC and see if they'll buy that slogan from you!!
P.S. I'm from San Diego, the word DUDE can never be over-used...Dude.

I will! Trust me their dad (me) as a blatant oversuser of the word Dude. My sons think Hurley may have me beat and that get's a laugh. My sons call me dude, and I laugh so hard.

New Yorkers say Dude too??? I had no idea! LOL!!

Caught the second half of Tuesday's episode, was decent, didn't realize it was set in Boston, so that added a touch to my interest. They were good with the local references, but clearly not filmed here as a climactic scene took place at South Station, and it wasn't South Station.

Yeah, they haven't been playing it in my parts. They probably will closer to the season premiere.

Do you have cable? It's the sci-fi G4 channel.
Otherwise you should netflix them
I don't think i have that channel. I have the sci-fi network but all they play are cheesey movies with bad acting..lol.
But yeah that's a good idea about netflix. I thnk I will
