Animals by Pink Floyd !!!! ( yea.. I'm a huge Pink floyd fan too )

So happy, just can't wait to buy more of these once I will be moved in my new place on july 1st. I had many Pearl Jam vinyls but I don't really want to unwrap those.

Which was the first vinyl you bought ?

We had a lot of old ones around the house, but the first ones I bought were:

    Are you Experienced?
AC/DC Back In Black - I traded it later that day for Ted Nugents Free For All
And the soundtrack to "The Man with the Golden Gun" :D

I got them all on the same day.
    Pirates had democracy too.

dude, im so sorry. welcome to the club. the need to feed the addiction becomes hard to handle at times.

p.s. unwrap the PJ they were made to be played!!!

Ed would never condone keeping those beautiful pieces of vinyl sealed and unplayed!!! :D
    Peace, Love.

    Nice.

I'd love a copy of The Low End Theory or Midnight Marauders on vinyl.

My first was Fugazi's first EP on 12".

I have a few Floyd vinyls and many other vinyl. Collect them just for the cover art. I always find dark side of the moon at yard sales all the time. lol

I think the first vinyl I bought was Grateful Dead's American beauty.

First Vinyl I purchased was TOM PETTY and THE HEARTBREAKERS.
I'm not sure the name of the LP but I remember I bought it for the song THE WAITING. That is when my love of music started!! I was 10 years old.

First PJ vinyl I bought was Lost Dogs. :D

My first and only PJ vinyl is Vitalogy. I actually found it for 5 bucks at a music store. In mint condition too. Unfortunately, it isnt exactly one of my favorite PJ albums, some others I would much rather own.

yield and vitalogy....someone gave them to me. But i had fanclub singles before that..but I don't think that counts. I didn't have a turntable for the longest time. Just got one a couple of years ago.

I miss when half price books had 5 for a dollar on the records. I have gotten probably about a third of my collection from that store.

Here is what I have amassed over the past few years. I play the stuff -- no leaving sealed or hanging on the walls! Wish I never sold off any of my collection -- sometimes I needed money and parted with such good stuff...other times I cleaned out of vinyl because I wanted to go the way of CDs. What a mistake!!!

If it reads a little funny it's because it's a cut/paste out of excel...

If any of you guys have an extra Into the Wild vinyl and are willing to sell it for a decent price, please let me know. Or if you know of somewhere I can find one.

speaking of vinyl...I need to get something to put my records in. I can't find anything.
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

    Crates are the best

I was thinking of that..I was going to try to look for something that looked a bit nicer, but I can't really find anything.

I remember when I was a kid I had Twisted Sister - We're not gonna take it single on vinyl. I don't really know why I had it, but I did. I guess that would be the first vinyl I owned.

A few weeks ago I picked up ~500 albums on vinyl from a guy who was moving and didn't want to take them with him. Mostly classic rock. Zepplin, Floyd, Chicago, Allman Bros, CCR, Santana, etc. I went through them and picked out ~100 that I am going to keep. I'm not sure what I am going to do with the rest. Maybe ebay, maybe the local record store will buy some. He also threw in an Onkyo player. I guess it wasn't a bad deal for $100.

I've ordered my first ever record player from ebay! A nice red 60s EMI record player, it's pretty. The seller's shipping it on Monday or Tuesday so should have it by the end of the week!!! Haven't bought any vinyls yet, but got the xmas vinyls to listen to and stolen all the good stuff out of my dad's collection. Hella exciting!!!!
