Anyone else get really frustrated with this when you are playing an album and could get ten minutes of blank sound and then some filler.

I got a new i-pod and want to know what is the best method of getting rid of the space and just having the music.? I know how to do it for clips but not for music

I hate that things too... Really annoying...

Maybe a stupid question but I really don't know: do I pods play mp3?
    I have a philips mp4 player...

But if you have mp3: mp3 splitter is the answer to your question

I am not exactly sure of the problem you are describing, so I don't know if this will fix it. It is worth a try.

In iTunes select the first song in the album and choose "get info" from the file menu or if you are using a mac press cmd-I. This gives you information about the song. There are several menus across the top, choose "Options". The very last checkbox at the bottom is "Part of a gapless album." Press the "next" button at the bottom to choose the next song in the album, and do the same thing. Do this for all the songs in the album. When you sync your iPod with your computer or copy these songs to your iPod, the gapless album option will be copied with it. Hope that Helps.
