I just used his movie "Candy" for a group at work not long ago. Interesting bit of foreshadowing...

I've been hearing that he got so into character for the joker it messed up his sleep patterns. Like he was on 2 hours of sleep a night or less. Which got him on sleep meds, which were found the death scene.

If that's all true, that's seriously nuts.

I am so very upset by this. I woke up about an hr and a half ago and I couldn't believe it. Another great loss this planet has endured. I just heard on Australian TV that his family found out listening to the radio.

It isn't very often that I get really upset over a celebrity's death, but this one is so so sad.

You know, I momentarily forgot about Renfro. Two in such a short period of time is always so much worse. Especially when there was actual talent behind them.
And yes, I heard the same thing about Heath and his "method acting" for the Joker role really fucking with his psyche.
As far as I know, filming for The Dark Knight has finished, and they're in post-production. So we'll probably get to see his final work. Too bad the film will have such a dark cloud hanging over it :(
Best wishes to his young daughter, and his family across the ocean. How awful for them to hear about it that way!!

  • i guess we'll hafto wait for the police report to come out before making any judgements/assumptions..

i'm just going off what the media has said. i believe it's been said that a heart attack is suspected. given the fact that he was 28 and (if it's true) died of a heart attack..it's almost always drugs. be they legal or illegal.
  • I haven't cried this hard for a celebrity death since Cobain.

Heath was extremely talented and too young. He will be miss.

    RIP Heath. :(

According to IMBD...the film with him as the joker is in post preduction. Does that mean it will still be released? If so, that's weird.
reminds me of the crow a bit :o

It's really strange... I wasn't a fan at all but it's one of those things where you have to do a double take when ya hear it :o

that's really awful :( I was thinking about that last night... whether or not they'd told his family before it all came out. Could they really be that fucking heartless?
