sandwiches...

what do ya put on em?

and no i dont mean in a deli...i mean when youre home watching tv and whatnot.

i usually do the turkey, cheese, mayo, and crunched up doritos on white bread. sandwiches are good.
all these burning battlefields are now behind us, life has brought us here together to remind us, that love will rise above it all and just keep growin, life keeps flowing and every moment starts right here with us

    I know you said not from the deli, but I just had my fav sammige:

    wheat bread, avacado, hummus, chedder, horse radish dressing, sprouts, apples, and carrots.

    mmmm sweet memories...

    Hmm. Well, I've recently stopped eating meat but in the days when I did I would use a variety of things.

    Turkey, I'd put light mayo, mustard, tomato and maybe a slice of mild cheddar.

    Roast Beef, going with some mustard and horse radish. Maybe some provolone.

    PB&J, a lot of both, on wheat. Never eat white bread

    also,
    ham or turkey, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato

    the bread is whatever kind the wife buys at the store....

    That sounds really good! I'll have to try that sometime. Usually I'm a turkey or roast beef guy with pepperjack cheese lettuce/sprouts, and spicy mustard on one of those breads with what appears to be bird seed throughout. Just say no to mayo!

    my favorite:

    spread hummus on a tortilla
    then baby carrots
    spinach
    sprouts
    roasted red peppers


    roll that shit up and eat it!

    I usually go very simple: turkey with some mayo or mustard. Maybe some cheese, if I'm feelin' saucy! ;) Sometimes some lettuce, but I don't often keep it in the house.

    Is this an American thing or a typo? Don't you put things IN sandwiches? Not on them?

    HAHA! My mum used to make lettuce sandwiches-in bulk and then freeze them. :D
