Any fans of this here? I know the show wasnt for everyone, but yesterday was the end of an era. And end of a chapter in my life and I am sure many others somewhere. I spent the better part of my 20's and 30's listening to them on a daily basis as did many others(I'm kind of a radiophile of sorts). I was a part of the show for many years as a caller that was known as the "How ya Doin'?" guy. Those of you who know the show, will know what I mean. Anyhow, just seeing if there is anyone else that will miss this as much as I will. I know that Mike and the rest of the gang are forging on, but as much as I like them, I am not sure it will be the same without Donny G!!

My friend was going to see Eddie last night. Since he was in Vegas, I gave him 5 Grand to gamble with. I told him I wanted it all to go on Black. Bastard! PhillyCrownOfThorns-11-2-12

Nope...we out here. Used to listen to them when I lived in DC. They haven't been on radio in NY except for a brief stint several years ago.
    Why did they go off?

Don finally decided to retire. Said the show was too much of a reminder of Frieda since she passed over 3 years ago. Needed to move on with his life and as long as he did the show, he couldn't do that. Very sad to see him go...

Wow..that sounds like its it then. If it were ratings, they would pop up somewhere else like Ron & Fez who have more lives than a bag full of cats.

He said he would like to be and will be on the radio again SOMEDAY a long while down the road. Some small station just him and a box of records is what he said.....Would suit him, I think..

They are/were on about 30-40 stations all over the place. Based out of DC 106.7 WJFK...Been together for 23 years as a team, and he was a dj for over 35 years. Def a show not for everyone, but since I was doing radio in college and have always liked radio in general, I took it.
