Sick Days.....

So yesterday I was seriously Ill. I mean ILL! Both my husband and I had the stomach virus...you know the one I'm talking about.

However, my job doesn't allow for sick days. I'm self employed and in order to take time off, I have to get people to cover for me. Which I have great coworkers, but it's still tough. No sick time, no vacation. Oh well.

But it really sucked hardcore. I'm puking my guts out and my phone just doesn't stop. I changed my voicemail to reflect the fact that I'm sick, my coworker will be helping me out but the amount of complaints really gets my goat. I mean HELLO!!! Aren't we all human? Give me a day! I still feel horrid, will still go into work today, even worked a half day yesterday while running to the bathroom. But people just need to chill.

    What kind of business do you have?


    It seems like it'd be a good idea to re-organize it so you CAN have sick days and vacation days when you need them.

    my personal belief is that nobodies job is that important they cant have a sick day or a vacation.
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
