Ugh!

I got up Friday morning at 4:30, Saturday - 6:00. Today, 6:15. I'm going to bed around midnight too. My sister thinks I need "sleeping in" lessons. (Last weekend we rallied Boston and both Saturday and Sunday I got up before 7 - even after going to bed HAMMERED at 4!)

It's driving me nuts! It's noon and I've done a major cleaning of the house, re-arranged my music collection, a boatload of laundry, had cereal, played with my cats, washed my car and even vacumed the interior.

Even if I've been out partying, I'm still getting up super early. Ick! Maybe my mind is running? Or I'm just adjusting to a new sleeping pattern? Or I just SUCK! LOL

    wow!
    that's amazing!
personally, what's wrong with it really? i wish i were such a motivated person. :p

i *feared* i may lose my ability to 'sleep in' when for the first time ever in my life, i got a full-time job WITH regular/smae hours, every single day M-F. i've never had that until 6 months ago. it definitely HAS effected my sleep patterns, but so far, not to the detriment of me sleeping in. ;) sure, i DO wake up around the time i would during the week....but i have zero problem going right back to bed and sleep a few more hours. :) i also usually stay up WAY later on weekend nights, so i am sure that helps.

but hey, LOOK at all you've done. me, it's 1:15 PM and i've done fuck-all.....and have already decided i ain't doin' much else. if i manage to make it to the market to pick up my fruit for the week, and also do a load of laundry, i shall feel very accomplished for the day. :) the house can stay dirty. hahah.
    Stay with me...
    Let's just breathe...

Take Nyquil before you go to bed - sure to knock you out for atleast 8 hours

I am the same way. I sleep great, get my 7-8 hrs during the week and I generally get up at 5:30 if I'm not going to the gym. Weekends? I'm awake by 7:30am and had been restless since 6:30......even if I was boozing the night before, regardless of what time I went to bed or if I slept on the couch (like I did last night). Plus I have 2 dogs.....they don't let me sleep too late.
believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

As I've aged, I've experienced the same thing. I think this is kind of normal.. You ever notice how old folks go to bed at like 8pm and get up at 4am? When I was a child I could sleep all day and all night and do it again, not anymore. My house doesn't have that "old people smell" yet, so I'm not gonna worry too much about it. hehe

    Peace

I go through phases where I have trouble sleeping. I will wake up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep but I chalk it up to my menstrual cycle and stress. But it's annoying...even if I take sleeping pills I can't get normal sleep. They simply don't work for me.

    sounds bipolar to me.
I have dogs instead of children... I'd rather ruin my carpet than my life.
