Never seen it, but doesn't most of the movie take place in Minnesota???

Fargo is in North Dakota people! And most of us don't actually sound like that either!

one of my all time favorite movies, and one of a few i can watch again and again without getting sick of it.

in fact, fargo is a top 5 movie along with fight club, the matrix, goodfellas and into the wild.
  • This and No County For Old Men were too of the most overrated movies I have seen. Not that I wasnt entertained at all but movie of the year?

I enjoyed it more the subsequent times I saw it.

That reminds me....I gotta get a wood chipper!

  • I saw it years ago and loved it. But thinking about it now I only remember two scenes: the one with the wood chipper, of course, and the one where she is on this long snow covered highway..... won't give it away since that is towards the end I think. Would like to see it again I think.

    Love it, great movie.
believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

some of us just don't watch every single film or tv show ever invented.
i admit i am behind when it comes to movies and tv shows.
so many tv shows and films have missed my eyes.
i just don't care a whole hell of a lot about it.

a few of my professors at school do not even own tv's.
a few do not even have internet at their home.

don't get me wrong, i do enjoy a good movie but i don't give a hoot if i see it or not.

No. I do not remember that. I think when winter sets in I may need to watch this movie again.

Every year some friends and I say that we are going to have a movie night where we take turns watching eachother's favorite movies. This would be a good one for that.
