Lakers get Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown and Javaris Crittenton and two 1st round picks. I hope this helps L.A., because Kwame was not a good player for the Lakers.

I would think that human feces would be more valuable then Kwame Brown.

  • I'm guessing they are hoping that Crittenton lives up to his potential and becomes a very good NBA point guard. The two first round picks don't hurt either...although I'm sure they hope the Lakers don't make the playoffs this year or next year.....

Exactly this trade is Crittenton, Human Feces, and two picks in the 20's for Pao Gasol. There is no way that Kobe, Lamar, and Pao miss the playoffs.

  • Although, after looking at their roster, Memphis may not be done making deals. I don't think there's going to be enough room for Mike Conley, Kyle Lowry, and Javaris Crittenton. Somebody is gonna get traded, cut, or not re-signed in the offseason.

Also, I hated that they cut Tarence Kinsey back in December...but that's purely because I'm a South Carolina grad and fan.

Kwame Brown, along michael olowokandi, are the worst No. 1 picks ever to roam the earth.

    nice win for them tonight
  • I believe Kwame's contract comes off the books after this season.

Memphis wasnt doing anything with Gasol anyway, now they free up cap room and get some future first round picks.

We'll see how Gasol stunts Bynum's progress when he gets back from injury

Brown's $9-million-per contract expires at the end of the season. Plus, the Grizz moved the kid from LSU...oh, what the fuck is his name?...DAMMIT! I can't remember the guy's name. Beer+bar=dead brain cells. Anyway, Memphis traded their first-rounder from a couple seasons ago...Shoot! I thought that might help me remember. C'mon, Google! Ha Haw! Stromile Swift. Yeah, so I'm guessing the Grizz are scrapping everything and trying to "rebuild" (and it's in quotes because outside of Hubie Brown's lone playoff season, what the hell are they rebuilding?). I'm just wondering if any "for sale" signs are going to start popping up in the yards of players and front office personnel, and not because they've been shipped out of town or shit-canned. OK City, anyone?
