  • I've prolly only got about 100 songs on mine and it's nearly used up. That's fine though. It's easy and quick to swap them around, so I'm not bothered.

These are all the albums I've put on my ipod since late September. There is no Pearl Jam because that was one of the first bands on my I
ipod when I first got it.

Do you have the teeny tiny one without the screen? It is smaller than a book of matches? That is the one I have. I have probably 55 songs on it. :o
Just some PJ stuff and MMJ and a couple random songs I like. I only use it at the gym so it is fine for me. But so small that it is easy to lose. Like, I have no idea where it is right now. oops

    Yep. That's the one. :D

I never even asked for an ipod for Christmas but it was a nice surprise when I got it.

Seriously though, what's the point in having more than 1000 songs on it?

The point of having choice i suspect?

whats the point in having anything???

Just change them later? You couldn't listen to more than a thousand in a work day, anyway.

    Me too!
It was in my stocking last year and I was so happy! I always wanted one but didn't feel the need to have a big one. My husband had the first issue of them, I think and he had a hell of a time with the battery and Apple. It was a nightmare for him.
Then he got the nano, I think. He loves it. It has a cool screen and is tiny.
I know...more than a thousand songs is too much for me.
I got new headphones for it for xmas. I just found my ipod...I will try them today.

I kind of know what ya mean, but its hassle swapping and changing tunes when ya can just have EVERYTHING you own with you all the time. Its all just personal choice aint it? ive got a 160gig classic which i admit is way too big and i should have bought the 80 really but its money thats gone now and i'll always get more money to waste on something else wont i? :)

If you don't have many songs, it doesn't take long to download them, does it? :p:D

My ipod is only the size of a battery, Trixie. Why do I feel like we're competing to see who's got the SMALLEST ipod? :D;)

Even to new board members it will be no surprise to know that the two of you are female. No self respecting male would ever be caught arguing over who has the smaller ipod!! ;)

I take a different approach than a lot of people and only load albums (and then songs) that I know I will want to listen to. I started with loading complete albums, then loaded selected songs from other albums. I know a lot of people that load everything they have. I have hundreds of CDs (and bootlegs) not on my iPod.

    On a 60G video iPod I have:
-6378 songs/41.67G/21.4 days (and 6625 songs total in iTunes)
    -109 videos/7.85G/21.3 hours
    -925 pictures/769.1M
    -4.9G of free space.

PJ is almost 1000 songs in iTunes, but maybe 850 or so on my iPod because I deselected a few songs here and there from shows. I don't need 8 different versions of Evenflow playing during the day :)
