I bought my husband a 3000 max psi, 2.7 max gpm briggs & stratton powered pressure washer and i'm going to sears to pick it up today. he built us the most beautiful deck this summer and he wants a pw to clean it.

do you know how much it weighs? they will load it into my car but i don't know if i'll be able to handle it or hide it! we have multiple sheds but he's always in there. I hope the box isnt too huge.

I could not find the weight in any of the specs online.

  • It might be hard to hide I'm afraid. It will be in a box the size of a large clothes basket and weigh around 30 lbs- 40lbs.

    question?

is it just homeowners that are knowledgeable about pressure washers?
    i find this interesting.

i do not own a home yet
so i guess i do not know squat about the different pressure washer weights and how much they vary in size and storage space required to house such an item.

im sorry i can't be of any assistance.

when I researched it online, the kind used for homes are different than industrial ones. one website had three different categories for pressure washers. it may have been listed like consumer, industrial, etc.

i'll just wrap it up and he'll know what it is anyway!

    thanks for your input.

that's what i am asking you.

    work with me here, ok?

are homeowners the only people who may know the weights of a pressure washer?

if one rents a house or an apartment they mustn't know anything about pressure washer weights; insinuating that ppl who rent do not have the knowledge or an opinion worth hearing about pressure washer weights.

    sorry if this seems nitpicking

please accept my apology for asking home owners. For example, a boat owner could use a PW as well.

After I posted, I found an ebay ad for one and it unfortunately weighs 54 pounds.

You could have ignored me if you have no input.
