light sensitivity

I know that is a symptom of migraines. My mom got those and she was incapacitated (I don't feel that awful.)

this a.m., my head only hurt slightly, kind of like maybe my sinuses. I got up and could not tolerate light...and I don't mean as soon as I got up. I was on the couch watching the news and just a living room light bothered me. I made my coffee and breakfast in the dark. It's happened before, normally at work.

does it sound like a "silent migraine?"

  • It sounds like it to me. I get migraines about twice a month. Some are slighter than others, but most of the time I am highly sensitive to the light.

Sounds like migraine to me. I often get the visual disturbances, but not the headache or a very mild one. Sometimes I can hardly see and it makes me sick, but no headache. The doctor confirmed that mine is migraine, maybe yours is too.

well....the ears, nose and throat doctor wanted to know last week if i get them and i said no but that my mom does.

could that be causing my increased tinnitus? he said stress increases that...

we shall see though after my head and ears MRI's next week

Yeah, this was the other thing that I was gonna mention. It was aggrevating to me because it was a misdiagnosis but Silent Cluster Migraines could lead to all your symptoms.

I don't know, it may be my sinuses. I keep waking up and only being able to breathe through one nostril. Every morning, I can half way breathe and then it clears up after I shower. This is gross, but I woke this a.m. because of my own SNORING. Get this, I had in earplugs with a slept with a hoodie on so I would not hear my husband's snoring and I did it. That means I'm fat, doesn't it!

yay, at least I'm not anemic. I have not had my physical yet, but my HMO emailed my cbc results to me....

i've been telling you guys how I'm an icecream/cookie pig. It showed up. My bad cholesterol doubled in two years. My overall number is still normal however. I'm ashamed of myself.
