seriously, we're not related...but it scares me to think we could be. I have relatives in the mountains very close to where he's from.

This is the Lana Turner movie I watched last night, made in 1959, the year I was born. It was about a struggling actress with a daughter who meets a homeless black lady with a mulatto daughter. They lived together. The "white" daughter wanted to deny her mom's existence, like she pretended her mom was her "mammy" in front of her friend. I think I liked her mom the most in the movie. It was so corny but I like old movies.

does the sad face mean she cried at the end (the funeral) like I did? They had this black lady soul singer in the Baptist church who was singing this song I liked and I think she was saying "trouble" alot.

Imitation of Life gives you something to think about!

Well yeah they didn't know each other I guess because they were adopted out to different families. I don't quite remember all the details of the story though. I wonder how often this happens.
