On imdb.com, I was clicking on actors' names for a thriller that I watched last night. One actor was in a 1995 movie "Above Suspicion." So, I read the AS description in case I want to check out the dvd from the library.

the description said that it was Christopher Reeve's last movie he made before his riding accident. Read this:

In this film, Christopher Reeve plays a paralyzed man. Six days after this film's theatrical release, Christopher Reeve broke his neck in a horse-riding accident, leaving him paralyzed for the rest of his life.

how about that, he played a paralyzed man before his accident! at first when I read it, I though he got the role BECAUSE he was paralyzed. Eeerie!

Agreed...I liked him as superman. I think I'll see if our library has it.

I looked for it online at my library. It is rated R. My library does not have it, probably is too dirty.

wierd stuff does happen to actors, like heather rourke, a child, died while filming poltergeist. (it may have been the sequel, can't remember)

oh I did not realize that. I just looked it up and Heather died while on hiatus from poltergeist III (in her bio)

    pasting in from imdb.com:

    # Heather O'Rourke, who played the little girl Carol-Anne, and Dominique Dunne, who played the teenage daughter, are buried in the same cemetery: Westwood Memorial Park in Los Angeles. Dunne was strangled into brain-death by her boyfriend in 1982, the year of the film's release. Six years later, O'Rourke died of intestinal stenosis.

and as for superman, tom welling is still alive after seven seasons and dean cain only makes cheesy movies.

I don't know, maybe it is too old? they only had the book. It may have only been on vhs and they probably no longer bother with them. the movie was made in 1995.

maybe they just never bought it. i never heard of this movie. i was just intrigued by your comment that it being rated R and being too "dirty" might have played a role. has that happened before or something?

I just began checking out dvds (from the library) this summer, so I made an assumption.

An actress who starred alongside Winona Ryder in the comedy Heathers had the line "Did you have a brain tumour fo breakfast?".
She later developed a brain tumour and died.
    S'fucked up!
