Frustration with V. Wireless free minutes

I received a gift of 50 free minutes from Verizon Wireless. After activation, they are to be used in 60 days.

Well I can't activate it! I tried over and over on the website. It did not recognize me....so I called on Monday, 6/16. I used the automated service on the phone and it said it would be activated in 2 days. I just checked my account and they are not there. I sent them an email.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Or how about making changes online and it did not work? I got spam so I disabled texting (online) and I still got spam on my cell phone. When I called, the clerk said it does not work to make changes online, you must call.

    verizon sucks.....:mad:.... it's the same company that surcharges when I dont make enough phone calls

    I am sorry to hear that! Normally they are doing ok by me....I got an email that they will fix it and give me the minutes.

    Oh I see your problem was a land line. I was talking about my cell phone. They were nice enough before and deleted the charges for the spam that I got.
