classmates.com has message boards.

today I replied to a thread about grunge music on there. nice to know some people still like it. however I found it funny that somebody considered Nickelback to be grunge. Now, I am a partial nickelback liker not hater. But they are not grunge are they? I thought grunge took place in the nineties, like our favorite band here, besides others.

anyway, I just thought I would tell you about the message boards on classmates.com b/c of threads being shut down, etc.

and please don't make this a nb bashing thread, there is already one up.

    I kinda think that's a pointless website. There are so many other social networking websites that are free that you'll probably find more classmates in.
    Myspace, Facebook, etc . . .

    Nickelback is "Post-Grunge", which means its a wannabe grunge media hype band that came into the scene to late to be part of the original hype. :D

    I don't let people see my real name on myspace, no way. Only chad knows my real name online, in my emails where I send him kisses.

    I've said it before, and I'll say it again: comparing Pearl Jam to Nickelback is like comparing Pearl Jam to a room full of chimpanzees with guitars. Sure, the chimps might eventually make some similar noises, but you can't deny it's a step down the evolutionary scale. :p
