Relation question (not nasty, sorry!) & ghosts

I am convinced we have a ghost here....remember last month, I posted, "footsteps in the hall." Last night or maybe the morning actually, I was in the basement getting bread out of the freezer and I heard footsteps. I thought it was hubby going to bed....I went upstairs and he was sound asleep on the couch. So I just reminded him of what I heard. He always joke's that it's "Leon's ghost." I told him I don't mind as long as it's friendly...

Listen to this about the previous owners of our house. Betty was married to Joe and they had two kids. Then he died. Betty remarried his brother Leon! They had kids. Are the brothers and sisters half siblings, cousins or both? Is Leon his step children's uncle? (Oh Leon just died as well, after Betty divorced him.)

Did I tell you how I was in the bedroom and I turned around and something white disappeared in the hallway about 2 months ago? What is it!!!!! Is it Leon or his brother Joe looking for their shared wife?

I was watching A&E this weekend about children who see spirits. A ghost buster lady brought in an electromagnetic field detector. Any readings between 2 to 7 are spirits (she claims) and a 10 is an electrical device in your home. Should I buy one? :D

Oh and when my mom lived with us for 4 months, she had a wierd dream that a man was after her right outside the French door and she always felt a presence she said....she thought she saw things out of the corner of her eye. Supposedly, the previous owners did not feed their dogs and we have 4-7 deceased dogs in our back yard. I think my husband found their carcass before.

bbbboooooooooooooo!!!!!

answer me about the kids, are they cousins or half-sisters and brothers?

I guess they would be both :confused:That is really spooky...You need to get your house cleaned of those spirits :p

If those spirits are the deceased dogs, I wish they would go haunt their previous owner Betty who was irresponsible and did not take of care them :(
She lives down the street from us with her much younger (enormous) boyfriend.

they would be both....and that's fishy. her husband dies, she marries his brother, they divorce, then Leon dies?! did she kill them? is that why it's haunted? :o

are in the U.S.? you should call Ghost Hunters! :D;)

awww leon was very ill when we bought the house from him. he had hardening of the arteries from drinking Jack Daniels and smoking. he had to retire early.
he was lonely and sick when we bought the house. he died 10 years later. so that's not too long ago and my house was already haunted. my cat used to see things but now he's gone.

yes we are in the u.s.

recently i was home alone and i was convinced somebody broke into my house b/c I heard something... I had something in my hand ready to go kick their arse in the basement. I went down there, not a soul anywhere.

hmmm, i love trying to figure these things out.....do you feel threatened by it? or is it just a nuisance? i grew up in a house that was slightly haunted. it wasn't harmful, just irritating. mostly footsteps and the sound of cabinet doors opening and closing. it took me years before i just didn't care anymore and it didn't bother me.
