    I've been a Kansas fan since I was like 3 years old despite living in Connecticut and when Carolina made that run tonight I was having flashbacks to Arizona in 2003 I think. The Jayhawks have broken my heart so many times in the past I was happy we pulled this one out.

    This Jayhawks team is sooooo much better than the one that barely beat my Salukis in 2007. They just pulled down Carolina's shorts and spanked their asses in the first half. That dipshit Billy Packer called the game over when Kansas got up by 26 with a little more than seven minutes remaining in the first half. Carolina -- well, more specifically Wayne Ellington -- mounted a helluva comeback but they just ran out of gas. KU seemed to get to every loose ball, just like Memphis did in the early game. This should be a really entertaining final. The two most athletic teams in the tourney should provide plenty of offense. Don't care who wins. Just want to see a competitive game.

    I grew up in Missouri and a Mizzou fan but went to high school in the heart of Jayhawk country. I am damn proud of the Jayhawks tonight. Jaaaaaaayyyyhaaaaaawwwwk!

    yeah, but sports really are a mental thing as well as physical. those kids practice , practice, practice. practice. .... but getting in the big game is daunting. i think memphis was awesome tonite. but when the mental part came at the end, the jayhawks stepped up. and memphis froze. they had been like 80% in the tourney up until the last game. and kansas just as easily could have said toward the end. "well, its over, we cant come back now?" shrugged shoulders and quit. but they didnt.
