Who's going??

I am a HUUUUGE Dolphin fan and one way or another I'm going to this game. I need to be there to hopefully see my boys move to 8-5 on the season. Don't have a ticket yet, but there are still some on TM so its just a matter of me deciding how much I can afford.

I was in a marketing meeting last week about this. They have over 3,000 tickets left to sell as of Friday. They HAVE to fill the stadium so I expect freebies to start floating around on Thursday or Friday.

For the exhibition game in August - they brought me 500 free tickets on the day before the game to give to guests at my hotel - just to fill the seats

There wouldn't be so many empty seats if they wouldn't have jacked up the prices so much. Here is Toronto's chance to shine for the NFL fans and what do they do, they screw them over. It's typical Toronto fashion though they've be screwing Leafs fans (I'm one) for years with ticket prices.

I fully agree......and so does the Downtown Business Association.

They basically thought that people would pay - regardless of the price. They were very wrong

Haha! I don't need your pity, I need your free tickets and hotel room. Tell your boss that s/he can use me for advertising at the game. I'll wear a shirt from your hotel and hold up signs that say classy things about the place.

screw this game. dumbest thing ever. My Canadian friends feel the same way. The CFL is a great, historic league. Why flirt with destroying it?

It would destroy the Argos and Ticats. The CFL, if it didnt collapse would be completely downtrodden. The CFL would no longer be in the most prominent region of the country.
