what happened? if you mean the Madrid crash I doubt that'll have repercussions for your journey, it didn't seem to affect the Valencian formula1 yesterday.

ladygooddiva, I think the odds of another crash occuring with the same air-line might be LESS rather than more because they'll be checking the planes more carefully since the accident happened.

    I think that'd be reasonable anyway. :)

Flying is still the safest form of travel.

that's what i was about to say. plus if you're traveling with your baby girl, a train ride will take longer, probably easier to fly so everybody stays happy :) perhaps ryan air does that same route, if you're wary of spanair?

absolutely... more people die in a year from champagne corks hitting them than die from plane accidents.

i read this today... true fact :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

that can't be true man, I imagine someone, somewhere once could've been killed by a champagne cork, but every year?
Of course in Scotland they may have been hit by the flying cork while it was still in a flying bottle :)
    I came, I saw, I concurred.....

it wasnt in something i read.. it was on the radio yesterday.. blame them?

still.. your statistically more likely to be killed by a hippo than by an airplane crash.

    ok, i made that up

Who cares if it's true, it's a great thing to throw in to a conversation..see if anyone challenges it.
It's like the one about all the Chinese people jumping up and down at the same time :D
Or all the cows in the world farting, then someone lights a match......BOOOM!!!!

What is the point of this thread? Do it...don't do it....who really cares??!
The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.

I thought this thread was to do with advance cancellations by the airline involved in the Madrid crash not the fear of boarding one of their planes.

    for fucks sake..

well ryanair is flying from here but to the south of germany than i have to travel by train much longer and ryan air had some probs too this morning..
so we deside that flying from alicante with airberlin (with no stops) and it is air berlin ..seems the best way in wo hours we are than in germany
so we just have to wait if his company pays th,if he flys from alicante and not valencia

a new mashine was burnining after start nobody got injured and this italian company belongs 100 % to lufthansa ...

so i think lufthansa has a big prob
maybe they try to save money in the wrong place
or was this just a "zufall"
i hope so bec. i really liked to fly with lufthansa
    never had a prob
    same like air berlin
