I've been volunteered for Easter dinner.

I'm cooking lamb, carrots and green beans.

my sister is bringing an appetizer and dessert

my sister in law is bringing potatoes

my mom is helping me cook the lamb since...well...cooking is not my specialty...unless it's spaghetti. :)

sooooooo much easier to have people bring things than to make it all yourself!
believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

    Chocolate bunnies for everyone.

But I'm buying them. Not making them.

Then ...I think I'm coming to your house for some of that awesome food. :)

We're grilling burgers! :D We decided that would be more fun than cooking inside. And I'm making my awesome baked mac n cheese, and a lemon bundt cake. We'll also have a few different salads.
  • I'm not but they are

    candied sweet potatoes,
    collard greens or cabbage
    salmon
    cream style corn
    corn bread

    LOL - now that's funny :)

I just finished making potato salad (w/ extra pickles!) and coloring easter eggs for a potluck/egg hunt at my brother's tomorrow. Every year I tell myself I'm going to buy the pototo salad because it takes so long, but it's sooo much better when you make it yourself!

Some of the menus above sound really good, makes me hungry for some baklava and/or chocolate cake! :)
