i'm turning 30 today

at midnight, actually, my birthday is really 2morrow the 11th; everyone thinks i should be bummed about it, but its no big deal to me... i'll be here in northeast Philly getting drunk with my twin brother (my old wombie :) ), my fiance, and a whole bunch of our friends, so it should be a good time, then a bunch of us are off to the phillies game saturday and i got flyers playoff tickets for tuesday, so it should be a fun couple of days!
My dad's last words to me: "Careful, son, I don't think the safety's on."

    Just turned 32 and got to say having a way better time in my 30's than I did in my 20's. When I was 21 I never could have booked flights to Florida on a whim to go see PJ...now in my 30's dropping a few hundred doesn't mean anything to me.

    30's are when you are young enough to have as much fun as you can, and old enough to afford it.

    Thirty isn't bad at all. Twenty-nine fucked with me, though. I guess I saw my 20s rapidly coming to an end. Unfortunately I'm still in my 20s financially and maturity-wise. The only difference is I'm closer to dead. Eh, maybe I'll be in my 30s when I'm in my 40s.

    Aren't your 30's wonderful!! I'll be 35 in June, holy $#!%! At 33, traveled to Europe & Hawaii to see PJ. At 34, Vic and Lolla. At 35, San Diego, Bonnaroo, and MSG both nights! Life is tough in your 30's!

    shit, i already had my 30s when i was in my 20s. now that i'm actually 30, i can't afford to do what i did then. (not that i actually could afford it then.)
