moving sucks!!

ugh, im packing up my shit, moving me and the fiance into a new apartment this weekend by myself cause she's working.... this stinks!! :(
My dad's last words to me: "Careful, son, I don't think the safety's on."

    moving is the worst. I have a sneaking feeling that it won't be too long until I have to do it again. I'll stay in this job forever just so I don't have to move.

    Bummer dude. Moving your own shit sucks enough but when you have to move a friend it's even worse. At one point I thought my name was "Will gladly move your heaviest furniture for beer."

    Moving does suck. I just moved back at the beginning of November. The only silver lining that I saw was that I was moving from an apartment to a house and won't have to move for a while. Thank God I am done with that for a long, long time!

    That's when you save all those chips up by helping friends move and then cash them all in at the same time. That's what I did and it took me one day to move. It was awesome, but now I'm all out of chips.

    that's why i have no intentions of moving until perhaps retirement...or maybe just death. :p i have *moved around* a good bit while a student abroad, but that's not too bad....couple suitcases with books/clothing and you're good to go. moving my whole life and house?! ack....did it 2x....and it SUCKed! i cannot even imagine after 10 years in our home packing up ever again. :p i'd definitely have to win the lottery or something to warrant that.

    i love moving..... ill be moving in july.... havent decided which city yet.... and i dont have much stuff so packing is no biggie.

    I HATE moving :mad: My last move wasn't too bad cause it was only 1 mile from my former apartment...but next time will be overseas....not even sure how to begin to organize that :eek: I plan to leave all the furniture behind and bring all the shoes instead! :o

    Hubby and I just had to do it by ourselves and it sucked big time. We gave A LOT of shit away.

    I'm ready to give almost everything away. I'll keep a backpack's worth of shit or maybe a taxi cab's trunk worth of stuff and that is IT!!! :p

    Shoes, hehehe...

    My hubby has way more shoes than I. When we were packing I handed him a basket and told him he could keep that many shoes - the rest were going to charity. :D
