My first summer living in the city. My apartment faces a park and I've noticed pretty much every night, up to as late as 2:30 before I fall asleep, there are people walking their dogs, even playing tennis sometimes..

When SURF was alive, I used to walk him around that time. There was a high school across the street with a track & we'd go there and walk that thing like 6 times then chill. It was good quality time, just me and my doggie.

If I'm up that late on a weekend, I take the dogs out before going to bed.
Walking can be a real trip

    many people work second shift.

Most every night. He almost has it booked in his schedule... generally starts getting a bit anxious around this time. His absolute most favorite thing to do.

All the time. Especially in the summer when it's cooler then. My dogs are naturally up during the night anyway, that's their peak time, so if I'm up, I get em out there.
